The Nelson’s Project

Mcgaffins Rd

Build by @mckeone_ the tiles are a 1.2 meter x 900mm concrete look porcelain from Tile Sellers in Albury.

The bathroom design incorporated Tiling Mitred edges (tiles cut on 45 deg angle to make a prefect seamless external edge) around niches, windows & doorways instead of ugly aluminium trims. We will only now use trims if it is a must and we cannot mitre the edge because of some tile types that won’t allow it or that are odd shaped. Epoxy grout went in the mitred edges and throughout the floors. Epoxy grout sets really hard and is more like hard plastic, cement based grout is porous and soaks in mould that cannot be cleaned. This was our first project working with Mckeone.

20131 Grove Street

Victoria Rd

This mid century inspired bathroom renovation was the perfect fit for the Art Deco styled home.
From the beautiful white and black marble hexagonal star mosaic tiles from @e_mosaictile to the Fienza tap ware and fixtures from @thebluespace. Everything was carefully handpicked by CJTB to ensure this 1950’s gem came together perfectly.
We think it looks pretty damn fandango!!

The Jefferson’s Lake House

Edneys Rd

Edneys Rd was an upstairs leaky ensuite that wasn’t setup too well previously.

The water ran out of the shower area and didn’t really go down the drain. It actually leaked into the 1st floor ceiling!
The boys did a lovely job on this one and their Mums would be proud.
